Blessed Anthem is a simple yet powerful chorus, drawn straight out of the Bible – Romans 4:8. An entirely spontaneous song, from melody to lyrics and rhythm. No writing sessions whatsoever. The whole song came divinely on stage at a live event in Abuja, Nigeria and was later recorded. It’s a joyful and uplifting anthem and is already being sung around church circles in Nigeria.
With heavy instrumentation and a powerful vocal delivery, the song in a very beautiful way reminds the listener about this ancient truth of God’s mercy; how God has decided to not count sin against those that put faith in Christ Jesus. Being Daniel Bentley’s very first studio recording, it sets the tone for a musical journey focused on revealing God’s heart through Jesus in songs.
