(Audio) Jamaican Singer, Sadra Madonna Lindsay drops “Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)”

Jamaican-born Gospel Recording Artiste and Worship leader, Sadra Madonna Lindsay drops her own version of Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)

Sadra Madonna Lindsay shares: “I heard this song for the first time in 2013 just before I got married. It was a very delicate time in my life and during that season I had traveled to America with hopes of visiting radio stations to have music played and churches to sing.

There were many things I didn’t understand but then The Lord spoke to me directly with a scripture out of 2 Peter 1:3 His divine power has given us everything we need for life and for Godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

I don’t know what the inspiration is behind the original version done by Hillsong, but for me the song reaches soul deep. It caresses my spirit and is one of those songs where the voice of God is evident. The Holy Spirit has also directed me on how to deliver the ministry of this song and for that I am grateful. To the original creators, remain at the feet of our King. He will continue to do great and mighty things through your ministry.”

LYRICS:

Chorus

So I will call upon your name

And keep my eyes above the waves

Where Oceans Rise my soul will rest in your embrace for I am yours and you are mine

[Verse 1]

You called me out upon the waters

The gray unknown Where Feet May Fail

And there I find you in the mystery

In oceans deeps my faith will stand

Your grace abounds in deepest waters

your sovereign hands will be my guide

Where ferry may fail and fear surrounds me you’ve never failed and you won’t start now

Chorus

So I will call upon your name

And keep my eyes above the waves

Where Oceans rise my soul will rest in your embrace for I am yours and you are mine[Verse 2]

Your grace abounds in deepest waters

Your sovereign hands will be my guide

Where Feet May Fail and fear surrounds me

Jesus never fails and he won’t start now[Chorus]

So I will call upon your name

And keep my eyes above the waves

Where Oceans rise my soul will rest in your embrace for I am yours and you are mine

Interlude

Bridge

Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders

Let me walk upon the waters where ever you will call me

Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander and my faith will be made stronger in the presence of my savior
