Israel Houghton, disclosed the cover art for his much anticipated album, Road To DeMaskUs. In addition to sharing the cover with his fans, Houghton launched the album’s second single, “Promise Keeper,” featuring Travis Greene.
Road To DeMaskUs will release in September and is available for pre-order on September 7th. The album is a nod to the popular Biblical tale of the Apostle Paul’s journey of transformation. The title displays an intentionally creative spelling as it encourages the removal of all the “masks” we find ourselves wearing in life. Whether we are masking our emotions, or masking our authentic selves, Houghton is passionate about reminding people that God’s love is not based upon who we are pretending to be. Rather, it is present & available for us exactly as we are. Houghton’s prayer is that this album becomes a tool to help de-mask us.
